COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Gamecock baseball upped its NCAA tournament home winning streak to 28 straight games Friday night with a 5-2 win over Campbell to start regional play. Top-seeded USC moves on to play a winner’s bracket game with #2-seed Maryland Saturday night at 7 p.m. After Friday night’s win, Carolina coach Chad Holbrook and sophomore shortstop Marcus Mooney commented on USC’s win streak.
