(CNN)– Elon Musk says he plans to give kids a stake in SpaceX.

Musk made the announcement on X, writing that he will give one SpaceX share to “Every kid in America” next year.

SpaceX is a $2 trillion aerospace and artificial intelligence company.

So, based on the number of kids in the U.S., the potential giveaway could be worth billions of dollars.

However, Musk did not explain how the shares would be distributed.
