Richland Library expands Eat Fresh Freely fridge

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland Library announced the expansion of their “Eat Fresh Freely” fridge Monday morning (October 19).

The new fridge is now available at the Richland Library Edgewood location.

The initiative provides free, locally grown fruits and vegetables to community members.

The fridge is also stocked weekly, offering residents a convenient, stigma-free way to access nutritious food.

With the addition of Edgewood, Eat Fresh Freely is available at the St. Andrews, Northeast, Eastover and North Main locations.
