Six flags roller coaster Goliath to get seat belts

(CNN)– Six Flags will add seat belts to Goliath and other roller coasters following the death of a man at Six Flags over Georgia.

In a statement Friday, October 23, the CEO of Six Flags said the company is reinforcing safety precautions across its parks.

It plans to install seat belts on the Goliath and they’re having experts review safety procedures across its attractions.

Officials say Goliath will remain closed pending safety reviews.

42-year-old Hassan Kariem died after falling from the coaster on October 12.

Georgia authorities are investigating his death.
