Breaking ground on outdoor athletic complex

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO) – Saluda Shoals Park is ready to break ground on an outdoor athletic complex and adventure course. The event will be held Thursday at 11am off Saint Andrews Road, and it’s open to the public. The new area will include a soccer complex with six fields, a pavilion with restrooms and concessions, tennis courts, a zip line… and a new canoe, kayak and tube take-out. The project should be completed by next spring.
