SC Deputies Say an 87-Year-Old Purposely Rams Building

ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) _ Anderson County deputies say they are looking for an 87-year-old man they say intentionally rammed his truck into a restaurant and then drove away. Investigators said Norris Perego got in an argument with his landlord who was trying to evict him from a campground in Anderson on Thursday. Authorities say Perego rammed his Ford F-150 pickup into the restaurant at the campground, starting a fire. Deputies say he also tried to set a second fire before driving away from the area. Authorities say Perego pleaded guilty in April 2013 to trying to hire someone to kidnap and beat a business partner. He was sentenced to five years of probation.
