(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — ABC Columbia news was there as results poured in from the polls, right along with us Voters anxious to see if their candidates had one the nod from each perspective party. Several dozens gathered inside of First Citizens Cafe along Main street for a GOP watch party, keeping a close eye on republican Senators Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham who both won their parties nomination. Not far away, crowds gathered at a hotel on Senate street to cheer for Senator Lindsey Graham who walked away with a victory. ” Politics is about big issues, but it’s always been about the people. Thank you South Carolina, I will not let you down.” In November, Senator Lindsey Graham will face off again Brad Hutto who won with more than 75 percent of the vote. Senator Tim Scott will go head to head against Richland County Council woman Joyce Dickerson.
