Spartanburg Woman Found Dead After Fire

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) _ A Spartanburg woman has been found dead after a fire at her home. Spartanburg Police Department Capt. Regina Nowak said investigators don’t know if the fire contributed to the death. Firefighters were called to the home of 63-year-old Willie Mae Gray around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Fire Marshal Brad Hall said emergency responders were unable to revive her. Nowak said investigators are trying to determine how the fire started and how Gray died.
