Gamecock commit Olivia Thompson leads Lexington over West Florence

LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO) — Olivia Thompson proved why she’ll be playing for one of the powerhouses of women’s college basketball next year.

The senior, a South Carolina signee, scored a game-high 19 to lead Lexington to an 86-53 win over West Florence in the first round of the 5A Girls Basketball playoffs Tuesday night.

The Wildcats now host Wando in the second round Friday at 7 p.m.
