Pappas & Crowe Earn All-American Honors

(WOLO) — Former Dutch Fork high school standout Nick Pappas and USC pitcher Wil Crowe earned Freshman All-American honors from Baseball America Monday. Pappas, a first baseman at the College of Charleston, made Baseball America’s Freshman All-American 1st team. He hit .269 with 5 RBI and 26 RBI and helped the Cougars earn their second Super Regional berth in school history. College of Charleston teammate Bailey Ober also earned 1st team Freshman All-American honors from Baseball America. Ober finished the year 10-3 with a 1.52 ERA. Crowe made Baseball America’s Freshman All-American 2nd team. He finished his first season at USC with an 8-3 record and a 2.75 ERA.
