Highway Patrol: 11 year old was hit by a car on Longreen Parkway

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Highway Patrol says an 11-year-old has been hit by a car this morning on Longreen Parkway and Spring Park Drive.

According to troopers, the incident happened around 7:15 a.m.

Highway Patrol says the child has been transported to a local hospital.

According to authorities, the driver stayed on scene.

Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
