Forum on development in SC’s fourth-largest town
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) — A forum is scheduled to discuss what the future will bring for Mount Pleasant, South Carolina’s fourth-largest community.
The Developers Council of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce is holding the forum on Friday and it features a panel of both business leaders as well as town council members.
The focus is on future development in Mount Pleasant as well as the areas east of the Cooper River in the Lowcountry including the Isle of Palms and Sullivans Island.
Mount Pleasant has a population of almost 72,000 and is just behind Columbia, Charleston and North Charleston.
