Fire damages two homes at Cloister Place on Monday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Fire Department says a fire damaged two homes on Cloister Place on Monday afternoon.

Authorities say no one was inside either home when the fire occurred and no injuries were reported.

According to investigators, seven people in total were displaced, with around $75,000 in damages.

Firefighters say the living area and garage of one home sustained heavy damage.

Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
