ESPN GameDay Coming To Town

COLUMBIA, S.C. (USC SID) — ESPN’s popular College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will be coming to Columbia this week, it was announced today. The live three-hour show, which features Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard will be aired nationally beginning at 9 a.m. ET, Saturday, September 27 on ESPN. The show will take place from the historic Horseshoe in the middle of the Carolina campus. The South Carolina Gamecocks (3-1, 2-1 SEC) will host the Missouri Tigers (3-1, 0-0 SEC) at a sold out Williams-Brice Stadium at 7 p.m. Saturday night. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN. This will mark the seventh time that ESPN’s College GameDay will visit the South Carolina campus. The Gamecocks own a 3-3 record when GameDay has been on campus.
