Deadly Shooting At Columbia Apartment Building

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities say a man has been shot to death after a chase outside an apartment building in northeast Richland County. Deputies told local media outlets that a fight in one part of the apartment complex Monday morning led to a chase in the parking lot and several shots being fired. Officers say they found the wounded man when they arrived after a 911 call. He was taken to the hospital, where he died a short time later. His name has not been released. Deputies say they are investigating the shooting and no arrests have been made.
