Leaders from both parties react to the fish fry, convention

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) —The dust has settled from a very busy political weekend in South Carolina after nearly all the presidential candidates in the democratic field came to Columbia for Jim Clyburn’s Famous Fish Fry and the State Democratic Convention.

Several of the two dozen candidates spoke to hundreds of people at both events.

Leaders from both parties say the events revealed a lot about the candidates and the state.

The 2020 South Carolina democratic primary will take place February 29th.
