Blowfish Announce Season Schedule

Lexington County, S.C. (October 22, 2014) – Today the Blowfish Baseball Club announced their 2015 season schedule. The Blowfish begin play on the road Tuesday, May 26th, against the in-state rival Florence Redwolves. Opening Day at Lexington County Baseball Stadium is set for Wednesday, May 27th, at 7:05PM. Opening Day will mark not only the inaugural home game for the season, but the inaugural home game for the brand new facility. The team will play at home four consecutive weekends spanning the months of May/June. The Blowfish cap off the 1st Half of the season and the month of June at home against the Gastonia Grizzlies, July 29th. The start of the 2nd Half brings the Blowfish’s annual Independence Day Weekend home stand (July 2-4). On July 2nd, the team plays host to Forest City. The USC Alumni team comes to Lexington County on July 3rd for the annual Battle for the “GameFish Cup.” The team will face the Florence Redwolves on July 4th to conclude the weekend. Independence Day Weekend also features three nights of special Independence Fireworks following each game. Overall, the Blowfish will play a 57 game home/away schedule. The schedule consists of 28 home and 28 away league games and one home exhibition game. The Blowfish also bring back fan favorite promotion/game themes including “Bark at the Park,” Military Night and many more (Dates TBD). Monday – Saturday games start at 7:05PM. The CPL is the hottest summer collegiate baseball league featuring 15 teams across Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
