CDC says number of women having babies is at all time low

COLUMBIA, SC (CNN) —– A new report says American women are having fewer babies than ever before.

The study from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says the nation’s fertility rate dropped to an

all-time low last year. The rate measures the number of live births per one-thousand women.

It recorded a two-percent decline.
