Victim identified in a fatal collision at the Lake Murray Dam
Lake Murray Dam blocked after fatal collision with tractor trailer and motorcycle
(ABC Columbia/FILE) One dead after collision at the Lake Murray Dam.
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) — Lexington County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal collision on the Lake Murray Dam (SC Highway 6).
Coroner Margaret Fisher says John Bafford, III, 32, after colliding with a tractor-trailer while on a motorcycle.
Highway Patrol says before 9 p.m. on Monday, Bafford tried to cross the road and struck the tractor-trailer.
Authorities say he died on scene from his injuries.
Troopers are investigating this incident.
