COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Department of Corrections say one inmate was killed after a fight at Broad River Correctional Institution.

Authorities say Damon Doyle, 43, was killed Monday afternoon during an altercation with another inmate.

Officials have not said if the other inmate will face charges.

SLED is also investigating the incident.
