UPDATE: Law enforcement in Sumter say search for missing toddler now a recovery mission

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Sumter Police now say that the search for a 5-year-old girl is now in recovery mode.

According to investigators, Daunte Johnson admitted to killing Neveah Adams and her mother Sharee Bradley.

Bradley’s body of was found at Lantana Apartments n Sumter County.

Investigators say Johnson provided information that could help police locate the child’s body.

Police say Johnson has a lengthy criminal history in other states and is a suspect in a homicide in Missouri.
