Vincent Sheheen Concedes to Gov. Nikki Haley

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Vincent Sheheen has lost the race for governor again. Sheheen congratulated Governor Nikki Haley Tuesday by saying, “She worked hard, she fought hard. I plan to work with her when we agree and when we disagree and do it in a respectful way to move the state forward.” Sheheen says while some may call the election a defeat, for him, it’s not. He says his work to expand 4 year old Kindergarten in the state and his help to shine a light on problems at the Department of Social Services is not a defeat.
