Heated Argument Leads to House Fire
(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — A man is facing arson charges after Richland County Deputies say he tried to set his house on fire after an argument with his wife. According to deputies, 42 year old George Kennedy was arguing with his wife inside their Campground Road home around 3:30 Sunday morning. Authorities report, Kennedy kicked his wife and her mother outside of the home, when officials say he was witnessed setting the house ablaze. When fire officials arrived to put the fire out, Deputies say Kennedy tried to stop them and was removed from the home. Kennedy was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
