CPD arrests 15-year-old for deadly shooting of teen on Sligh Avenue

(WOLO) – Columbia Police have arrested a teenager in connection with a deadly shooting in August.

A 15-year-old male is charged with murder for the shooting death of Jalen Islam.

Police say the shooting took place August 12th on the 2100 block of Sligh Avenue after the two got into an argument.

A hearing will determine if the juvenile will be tried as an adult.
