Crews battle commercial structure fire in Lexington

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – We’re waiting on word for the cause of a fire in the Town of Lexington. Crews were called out to West Main Street around 7am Tuesday. They were able to get the flames in the building under control. Authorities say it was a home that had been converted to a commercial structure by Meade Hunt Engineering. There are no reports of any injuries, but the fire did tie traffic up during the morning rush hour.
