Bostick Says Goodbye To Green Bay

Brandon Bostick has apparently been released by the Green Bay Packers. The first player from Newberry College to score a touchdown in the NFL tweeted Monday afternoon, “Thankful To Spend The First 3 Years Of My Career In GB. Unfortunately My Time There Has Ended. I Appreciate The Support From Everyone In GB!” Bostick, originally from Florence, S.C., is best known for not being able to recover an onsides kick in the NFC Championship game against Seattle, helping the Seahawks come back to beat the Packers and keep Green Bay from going to the Super Bowl. He played just 34 snaps on offense with the Packers in 2014. In two seasons with Green Bay, Bostick had nine catches for 123 yards and 2 TDs.
