Gamecocks cancel baseball game with Winthrop

COLUMBIA – The Gamecock baseball team’s game against Winthrop scheduled for Tuesday afternoon has been canceled due to inclement weather. No make-up date has been set.

The Gamecocks host Presbyterian Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 19) with a 4 p.m. first pitch.

Carolina opened the season with a sweep over Holy Cross. It’s the first time the Gamecocks started the season 3-0 since 2016.
