Caregiver Arrested In Richland County

Richland County, SC (WOLO)- A Richland County woman is accused of stealing more than 16 thousand dollars from a 93 year old woman she was supposed to be caring for. Investigators say Sheila Shirley is charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult, fraud, breach of trust, and forgery. According to deputies Shirley , who was employed as a senior care giver for the victim, forged the victim’s signature to take 16-thousand 7-hundred thirty dollars.
