20 Year Anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing

(WOLO) OKLAHOMA CITY, O.K., — Sunday marked the 20th anniversary of the deadly Oklahoma city bombing.168 people, including 19 children, died when a man parked a rental truck packed with explosives in front of the Alfred P. Murrah federal building on April 19, 1995. More than 500 people were hurt. Sunday morning, people gathered at the site in remembrance of the attack. Former President Bill Clinton is among those attending the commemoration and is expected to deliver remarks. the event began with a 168-second moment of silent in memory of the victims who lost their lives. Timothy Mcveigh and Terry Nichols were convicted of the attack. Mcveigh was executed in 2001. Nichols is serving a life sentence. (Source: CNN)
