Community development celebrates 40 years

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The City of Columbia’s Community Development Department will host a party 40 years in the making. It kicks off Monday night at 7:00 at the Nickelodeon Theatre. Organizers say the event will include the unveiling of their video, “40 Years Building Communities and Transforming Lives.” Since developing 40 years ago, the group’s goal has been making Columbia a better place to live, work and play.
