Baseball team to be revealed

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — We will soon know the Major League affiliate of the baseball team that will be playing in Spirit Communications Park in a little less than a year. Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin is joining the chairman and CEO of Hardball Capital for a news conference Thursday afternoon at 1:30. Work on the stadium is already underway. Officials say we can expect to see the team hit the field next April.
