Last day of Richland-One pre-k registration

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland-One is having its final spring pre-kindergarten registration. It takes place Thursday night at 6:00 in the Lower Richland High School auditorium at 2615 Lower Richland Boulevard in Hopkins. At the session, families will receive a registration packet. The following documents are required: -Child’s long-for birth certificate -Child’s immunization certificate -Two proofs of residence (lease or mortgage statement and a utility bill or a shared household document) -Proof of income (child’s Medicaid card or parent’s paycheck stub) Officials say it’s important for parents of four-year-olds planning to be in the district’s program to take advantage of the opportunity before the district starts screening students this summer.
