CENTRAL, S.C. (AP/WOLO) – Senator Lindsey Graham kicks off Presidential Bid in South Carolina Monday. The crowded campaign for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination is squeezing in another contestant. Graham is now the 9th GOP Candidate to officially declare a run for the White House. Sen. Lindsey Graham formally launched his bid Monday in the small South Carolina town where he grew up. His sister, Darlene, introduced the Republican Senator with stories about their childhood. Graham took a stance on Iraq, the need to strong-arm Iran over its nuclear program and bringing America back to where it needs to be. Graham says he is the most experienced candidate of any, when it comes to National Security, and he included Hillary Clinton in the statement. South Carolin’s GOP Chairman has released a statement, reacting to the news. Matt Moore said, “Senator Lindsey Graham is a longtime friend and supporter of the South Carolina Republican Party. We wish Senator Graham the very best in his campaign and look forward to seeing the Senator on our ‘First in the South’ campaign trail.”
