Team USA Passes on Seventh Woods

Columbia, S.C. — On Monday, Hammond Guard Seventh Woods was told he did not make Team USA’s Under 19 team. His mother Monica confirmed the news to ABC Columbia Monday. Woods was participating in try-outs in Colorado Springs this week in hopes that he would be one of the final 12 to make a roster participating in the FIBA World Championships in Greece later this summer. Woods is a rising senior at Hammond. He’s currently being recruited by South Carolina, North Carolina and Duke.
