Woman hurt after accident with school bus

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A woman is in the hospital after her car ended up under a school bus in Cayce. Police say the Pontiac Grand AM was traveling along Highway 321 Tuesday morning when it ran into the back of the stopped bus that was on its way to Taylor Elementary. No students aboard were hurt, but EMS did check them out as a precaution. Meanwhile, it took crews about an hour to actually reach the woman. They had to lift the bus to get to her. No word on the woman’s condition. Officers say her car is totaled. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
