Man vents about the Midlands heat wave
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – We’re not even into the official start of summer, but the City of Columbia is proving its “Famously Hot.” Tuesday’s high temperature broke the record of 100 degrees, set back in 1920, and it has people searching for a place to cool off. Apparently the heat was too much for Eric Cornell. He was visiting the Capital City for a speaking engagement, and Cornell ended up getting more attention for speaking his mind on this recent heat wave. Check out the video that he posted Sunday to his Facebook account. It’s the latest video to go viral. https://www.facebook.com/ecornelljohnson/videos/1103568689673305/
