Monte Lee Named Head Coach at Clemson

Charleston, S.C. — On Wednesday, former College of Charleston Head Coach and University of South Carolina Assistant Coach Monte Lee and Clemson officially agreed to terms for Lee to become Clemson’s newest head baseball coach. Lee will be introduced at a press conference Thursday at 3 p.m. The new coach plans to bring pitching coach Matt Heath with him. ABC Columbia has not received any details of the contract as of Wednesday night, though it was widely believed Lee would make at least $600,000 per season with the Tigers.
