Deputies: Suspect Stabbed, Killed Girlfriend Drove Her to Orangeburg Co.

Orangeburg Co. S.C., (WOLO)–Orangeburg deputies say a suspect in a recent murder is in custody. Investigators say Malcolm Williams was arrested Thursday. According to deputies Williams is accused of stabbing 21 year old Lateefah Williams in Batesburg-Leesville and then driving her to Bricin Rd. in Orangeburg County. Authorities then say he called 911 and told investigators he stabbed his girlfriend and left her body in the woods. Deputies say although they had the same last name, it is not believed that the victim and the suspect are related.
