Welch, Wilson Back in Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Former USC Forward Aleighsa Welch and current Carolina Forward A’ja Wilson were back in Columbia Thursday for Welch’s youth basketball camp. Welch is only back in Columbia for a short time, though. She’s leaving on August 30 to restart her pro career in Portugal, after being cut by Chicago in May. Wilson is back in the United States, after capturing a gold medal at the FIBA World Championships last week. Click to watch ABC Columbia’s story from Thursday.
