Black economic summit being held in Orangeburg this weekend
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — The South Carolina State Conference of the NAACP is joining with the business school at Claflin University in Orangeburg to host an African American Economic Summit.
The event is being held on Saturday and features discussions about job creation and wealth strategies.
On the schedule are sessions on black buying power in the state, South Carolina tourism and creating jobs through the state’s technical colleges.
