Police investigating Sumter shooting that leaves man dead

SUMTER, S.C. (AP) — A weekend shooting in Sumter has left a 32-year-old man dead.

Authorities tell local media outlets they responded shortly after midnight Saturday and found a man with a gunshot wound in front of a house.

Thirty-two-year-old Rafael Ramirez Durant died later at a hospital in Columbia.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing.
