Steelers Release Tajh Boyd

PITTSBURGH, PA — Former Clemson Starting Quarterback Tajh Boyd was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers Tuesday. The team released Boyd and signed receiver Jarrod West. Boyd was competing with Landry Jones for the third-string spot on the roster, but didn’t play at all in the first two preseason games for the Steelers. Boyd tweeted today, “I can’t change the direction of the wind but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” Boyd is now working with his agent to find another team before the regular season.
