SC Supreme Court to hear CARES Act funding lawsuit

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–The State Supreme Court will hear arguments over Governor Henry’s McMaster’s decision to spend $32 million of federal coronavirus relief funds on grants for private school tuition.
The justices will hear opening on arguments September 18th.
This comes after an Orangeburg County attorney filed for a temporary injunction to block the funding he says is unconstitutional.
