Arrest made in Chapin bank robbery

Chapin, SC (WOLO) — The Chapin Police Department in cooperation with the Lexington County Sheriff‘s Department and SLED have arrested the robbery suspect that held up the Chapin area TD Bank on Columbia Avenue Thursday afternoon. Authorities have arrested, Lisa Cashalt. She was charged with armed robbery and two counts of kidnapping. According to Chapin Police Chief Troy Crump, the assistance of the tips made by local citizens and the cooperation of the Sheriff‘s office and SLED helped bring Cashalt into custody quickly.
