Boil Water Advisory: Stoneridge Drive

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A boil water advisory has been issued for customers of Stoneridge Drive (from Gracern Rd. to Greystone Blvd.), in Richland County following a ten inch water line break. The water line break could possibly result in bacterial contamination of the water on Stoneridge Drive officials say. The City of Columbia Water Works are asking customers to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking. Any ice made from the water should not be used unless it is boiled. The City of Columbia Water Works is presently working to correct the problem. Questions concerning healthcare facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities should be directed to the SC DHEC Division of Health Licensing at 545-4370.
