WWII Vet Gets Special Veterans Day Home Makeover

HOPKINS, S.C. (WOLO) — World War II veteran, Robert Fogle, is a 91-year-old retired U.S. Air Force flight engineer who, along with his wife, Ann, receives an unexpected makeover to his Hopkins home. Dozens of community volunteers Friday joined the faith-based organization, Home Works, to provide much needed home repairs for a Midlands veteran. The organization assists the elderly and the disadvantaged in renovating their homes at no cost to the homeowner. Robert Fogle says this is a Veterans Day gift he will never forget.
