Police: Anderson woman killed by boyfriend

ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say an Anderson woman was shot in the face and killed by her boyfriend of eight years.

Investigators said 34-year-old Holly Michelle Ford was found dead Thursday night in the home she shared with her boyfriend, 49-year-old James Walter Metz III.

Authorities say the shooting happened after a domestic dispute between the couple.

Metz is charged with murder and remains in the Anderson County jail. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.
