Tractor-Trailers crash on Del. road

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (AP) — Middletown police say one tractor-trailer driver was injured when two of the rigs collided in Middletown.

It happened about 3 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 301. Police say 45-year-old Johnny Griffin Roberts of Latta, S.C., was traveling north when he crashed into the rear of a rig driven by 57-year-old Marvin Raggins of Hastings, Fla. The cab of Roberts’ tractor-trailer was destroyed.

The News Journal of Wilmington reports that Roberts was treated at a local hospital for a broken leg. Raggins was not hurt. (http://delonline.us/vIoPat)

Roberts was cited for inattentive driving.
