Man Charged in Killing of Teen in SC Home

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) _ Horry County police say they have charged a man with murder in the shooting of a teen in a Conway mobile home last month. Investigators said 21-year-old Keir Johnson was arrested Thursday morning. Authorities say someone forced open the door of the home on Nov. 8 and fired several shots inside, killing 19-year-old Shaquille Pertelle. Investigators didn’t release a motive or additional information on the arrest. Johnson was being held in the Horry County jail and it wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.
