Mayor Benjamin and other city leaders presenting art dedication ceremony on Main Street Thursday

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– New art is coming to downtown Columbia. Thursday, Mayor Steve Benjamin and city council members will hold a public art dedication ceremony. It kicks off at noon at 1401 Main street.

Officials say the event, titled “The Pursuit of Opportunity, Celebrating African American Business,” will feature the artwork by Ija Charles.
